Welcome to the University of Toronto's Social Justice Cluster!

SJ@UofT is a multidisciplinary collaboration that promotes research and pedagogy on social justice issues and supports the development of activist scholarship.

SJ@UofT aims to:

• promote research, pedagogy and praxis that address the root causes of social inequalities, using an intersectional analysis of race, class, gender, sexuality and nation and paying attention to issues of colonization and aboriginal justice,

• showcase and promote models of activist scholarship and anti-oppressive research methodologies,

• generate sustainable partnerships between the University of Toronto and community based initiatives for social justice.
