Performance by Faith Nolan



Faith Nolan is a singer, song-writer, and guitarist. Her CDs include: I am a Prisoner, Faith Nolan Live, Faith Nolan Compilation, 1986-1996, Hard to Imagine, Freedom to Love, Sistership and Africville.

Notisha Massaquoi is a member of Gays and Lesbians of African Descent. She Program Director of Women’s Health in Women’s Hands Community Health Centre for Black Women and Women of Color.

Makeda Silvera was born in Kingston, Jamaica in 1955. She is co-founder and managing editor of Sister Vision: Black Women and Women of Colour Press. She has edited numerous anthologies, including the groundbreaking Piece of My Heart, the first lesbian-of-color anthology in North America.

Syrus Ware is a black trans activist and trans health educator who created blackftms@yahoogroups.com. Syrus is also a practicing visual artist and works with Youth Behind the Scenes for the Arts Gallery of Ontario.
