What is radical praxis?

In pairing activist scholarship with radical praxis, the series seeks to showcase work that addresses the root causes of systemic social inequalities. At the same time, the emphasis on activism highlights the importance of individual and collective agency and the possibilities for effective social change interventions. As such, the series will highlight speakers whose work bridges the micro, meso and macro, integrating the micro-detail of individual lives, relationships and resistance with a macro-level reading of national and supranational policy and the global economy. The invited speakers will also work within an intersectional framework that analyses the complex interactions of race, class, gender, sexuality and nation.
